Detailed Day Wise Itinerary

  • Day : 1 Arrival at Lucknow to Ayodhya

    Upon arrival at Lucknow railway station/airport directly drive to Ayodhya and transfer to the hotel. Evening at leisure. Ayodhya, is one of the seven most sacred cities of the Hindus in India and situated about 150 km from Lucknow, on the banks of the Saryu river.

    The name Ayodhya means which cannot be subdued by war. It covers an area of 10.24 square km. This holy city holds a place of pride among Hindus as it is the birthplace of Lord Rama, the seventh incarnation of Lord Vishnu. Ayodhya is also believed to be the capital of Kosala, a kingdom ruled by Lord Rama.

    Ayodhya is an equally important place for Jains and Sikhs. Ayodhya is also famous for city of temples. Overnight at the hotel in Ayodhya.

  • Day : 2 Ayodhya to Chhapaiya

    After breakfast excursion trip to Chhapaiya- Chhapaiya' is a village about 50 kilometers far from the city of Ayodhya and situated in District of Gonda in the state of Uttar Pradesh.

    Its the birthplace of God Swaminarayan. Swaminarayan (1781 - 1830 CE) was incarnated here on 2 April 1781 as Ghanshyam, making this village a pilgrim place for his followers world wide. Akshardham temples in Ahmedabad & Delhi (New Delhi) are dedicated to Swaminarayan. Gujratis are the main followers of this sect and regard Chappiya as a very sacred place to visit. There are the places where Swaminarayan played with other kids, climbed a tree that is part of the faith's folklore, the lake where he is said to have revived fish from a fisherman's catch.

    There are legends associated with places like Birth Place, Gangajal well, Narayan Sarovar, Dharmadev Bhaktimata Oata, Kalidatt Oata, Three cornered filed, Min Sarovar, Bhutio (ghost) well, jira bhari Talao. Jambu tree, Moksh pipal, Khapa Jalavdi, Kalyan sagar, Gay ghat, Shravan talavdi, Makhoda ghat, Ram sagar etc. It is the sacred wish of the followers of the sect to visit these places once in life time.

    After return back have some rest in the room & than visit Shri Ram Janm bhumi, Kanak Bhawan, Hanuman Garhi, Nageshwarnath Temple & Saryu Ghat etc.

  • Day : 3 Ayodhya to Lucknow

    Morning at leisure. After breakfast check-out (Check -out time 12 Noon) from the hotel & drive back to Lucknow & directly transfer to the airport/ railway station.
